Long story, and a complex one. It came down to a partnership with a former sponsor taking the project in a direction I wasn't excited about. The opportunity to continue new research under grant funding became available that I just couldn't let pass by.
Sensory Networks intends to maintain Bleeding Threats. I sincerely hope it remains effective. If things go bad we'll pick up the slack here and keep those rules up and available. They're BSD licensed, so there are no risks of the ruleset disappearing.
